In the first instance we would be happy to undertake a full survey and offer our proposal to best meet your needs.

A refurbishment can be as little as upgrading the existing metering with one multifunction meter with communications ability, to a full engineering survey of your existing systems to meet your future requirements which could include.

• New modern protection relays
• Metering
• Load shedding capabilities
• Auto close and Re-close
• Power failure and switching systems
• Upgrade of power distribution
• Transformers

Complete and detailed reports with fixed price solutions can be offered. Typical scopes of work include upgrades to protection relays for generators, bus sections and feeder protection to allow intelligent communication and SCADA. Frames and sub-frames are cleaned to bare metal and re-plated to 'as new' condition. Units are re-assembled on our factory fabrication jig to ensure perfect alignment of chassis and withdrawable contacts. The typical lead-time for complete refurbishment, depending on choice and availability of the Protection Relay is 6-8 weeks. The fixed cost of refurbishment will be quoted on application.
