HMC Refurbishment
We hold a complete data base of GEC (Alstom) supplied HMC410 3.3kV contactors and motor starters, and therefore
are able to fully support these products. This equipment typically has a 25-year life cycle, however through a
planned program of maintenance and upgrades, life expectancy can be extended by another 25 years. ICS Ltd Engineers
continue to upgrade and service HMC410 units for:
- Apache North Sea Ltd
- Talisman Energy (UK) Ltd
- EXXON Rotterdam
- Glaxo Smith Kline Beecham
- BP
- MSD and others
ICS have available the manufacturing jigs for the HMC410 units, and are able to completely
service and realign any units to the original manufacturers specifications. We also hold a number
of spares at our manufacturing unit and are able to offer various programs to meet your needs:
- Serviced Exchange or Replacement Units
- Maintained units
- Full Refurbishments
- Serviced units with the latest protection relays upgrades
- Units removed and serviced offshore
- Switchboard upgrades
- Switchboard maintenance
- All units tested to meet latest IEC standards
As an example we upgrade the HMC410 motor contactor by fitting out the unit with new Areva 7.2kV
Vacuum contactors, instrumentation, ammeters, selector switches, pushbuttons, etc. New protection
relays will be supplied as per customer's specified requirements. Typical options are:
